Diana Antwi Hamilton, a Ghanaian gospel singer, recounted her near-rape experience during senior high school (SHS).<\/strong><\/p>\n She said that the horrible occurrence happened at an inter school competition (INTERCO) in her first year at Ghana National College.<\/p>\n Diana recalled how, as an innocent young lady, her school mother had intentionally lured her out to a few boys.<\/p>\n \u201cIn my first year at Ghana National during an Interco, my school mother asked me to follow some guys to take her biscuits. I did and by the time I realised, one was in front of me and the other behind, they put me in a car. The next thing I knew I was somewhere in Cape Coast, Kotokraba,\u201d she narrated in an interview with Accra-based TV3.<\/p>\n The 2021 VGMA Artiste of the Year said that it took \u201cthe doing of the Lord\u201d to save her from that traumatic situation.<\/p>\n \u201cIt took God to grant me the courage to tell upper sixth formers that I would not enter the house. Right at the entrance of the door sat a woman who was feeding her goats and she didn\u2019t say a word, all she did was sit there and watch. Diana Hamilton is currently promoting her new song \u2018The doing of the Lord\u2019 featuring Nigerian gospel star, Mercy Chinwo.<\/p>\n Diana Antwi Hamilton is a Ghanaian gospel musician with several awards to her name.<\/p>\n She won the 2021 Most Streamed Female Act of the Year Award at the 3Music Women\u2019s Brunch.<\/p>\n In March 2021, she was among the Top 30 Most Influential Women in Music by the 3Music Awards Women\u2019s Brunch.<\/p>\n
