{"id":139496,"date":"2024-01-16T08:20:13","date_gmt":"2024-01-16T08:20:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2024\/01\/16\/ill-give-opportunities-to-youth-when-i-become-president\/"},"modified":"2024-01-16T08:20:13","modified_gmt":"2024-01-16T08:20:13","slug":"ill-give-opportunities-to-youth-when-i-become-president","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2024\/01\/16\/ill-give-opportunities-to-youth-when-i-become-president\/","title":{"rendered":"I&#8217;ll give opportunities to youth when I become president"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>Leader of the New Force, Nana Kwame Bediako, has promised to give the youth opportunities to be part of the country\u2019s decision-making processes to choose leaders when he is voted into power in the 2024 polls.<\/p>\n<p>According to him, the youth have not been given such opportunities in the last four decades.<\/p>\n<p>Instead, he said they were only used by politicians who offered them money in exchange for their votes.<\/p>\n<p>He told Bernard Avle in an interview on <em><strong>The Point of View<\/strong><\/em> on <strong>Citi TV<\/strong> on Monday that, \u201cI think that the New Force is standing for the youth in this country. We believe that in the past four decades, the youth should have the right to be a part of the decision \u2013 how and who is going to lead us and how they are supposed to lead us\u2026 In the past four decades, between NDC and NPP, there hasn\u2019t been any young person who has stood up with the courage to say that I am coming in, and I am going to become the unifier.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat is what I am. I am the unifier between the youth and the government.
