{"id":139274,"date":"2024-01-15T15:06:15","date_gmt":"2024-01-15T15:06:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2024\/01\/15\/bawumia-attempting-to-deepen-cracks-in-ndc-mustapha-gbande\/"},"modified":"2024-01-15T15:06:15","modified_gmt":"2024-01-15T15:06:15","slug":"bawumia-attempting-to-deepen-cracks-in-ndc-mustapha-gbande","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2024\/01\/15\/bawumia-attempting-to-deepen-cracks-in-ndc-mustapha-gbande\/","title":{"rendered":"Bawumia attempting to deepen cracks in NDC &#8211; Mustapha Gbande"},"content":{"rendered":"<br><div id=\"article-text\">\n                        \n\n                        \n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Deputy General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mustapha Gbande is accusing the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr Mahamudu Bawumia of attempting to create conflict within the opposition party.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He is alleging that Dr Bawumia visits NDC party executives clandestinely in an attempt to convince them to support him in his quest to capture political power in the 2024 elections.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">His comments come after Northern Regional Treasurer, Hajia Razak Shamima, and the Regional Vice Chairman, Mr Gbewa allegedly traded blows at the party\u2019s office over party funds on January 14, 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But Mustpaha Gbande believes that the Vice President was behind it, adding that a week ago the National Chairman of the Party, Johnson Asiedu Nketiah had visited constituencies to reconcile conflicting constituencies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-audio\"><audio controls=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/www.myjoyonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/MUSTAPHA-NORTH.mp3\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cYesterday, there was no meeting in the Northern Region.
