{"id":138663,"date":"2024-01-13T13:42:14","date_gmt":"2024-01-13T13:42:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2024\/01\/13\/obofour-and-i-are-no-longer-relevant\/"},"modified":"2024-01-13T13:42:14","modified_gmt":"2024-01-13T13:42:14","slug":"obofour-and-i-are-no-longer-relevant","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2024\/01\/13\/obofour-and-i-are-no-longer-relevant\/","title":{"rendered":"Obofour and I are no longer relevant"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>Bishop Daniel Obinim aka Angel Obinim has recently revealed that the decline of his church can be attributed to the clash he had with NPP\u2019s Kennedy Agyapong.<\/p>\n<p><span id=\"ezoic-pub-ad-placeholder-901\" data-method=\"placement-service\"\/><span id=\"ezoic-pub-ad-placeholder-114\" data-inserter-version=\"2\"\/><\/p>\n<p>The startling revelation came during a TikTok live session in which Bishop Obinim opened up about the aftermath of his public dispute with the outspoken politician.<\/p>\n<p><span id=\"ezoic-pub-ad-placeholder-909\" data-method=\"placement-service\"\/><span class=\"ezoic-autoinsert-video ezoic-under_first_paragraph\"\/><\/p>\n<p>According to Bishop Obinim, the conflict with Kennedy Agyapong, which played out in the public sphere, led to the collapse of his church.<\/p>\n<p><span id=\"ezoic-pub-ad-placeholder-910\" data-method=\"placement-service\"\/><span id=\"ezoic-pub-ad-placeholder-122\" data-inserter-version=\"2\"\/><\/p>\n<p>In the TikTok session, the religious leader shared insights into what happened between him and Kennedy Agyapong.<\/p>\n<p><span id=\"ezoic-pub-ad-placeholder-911\" data-method=\"placement-service\"\/><\/p>\n<p>He emphasised the unforeseen consequences of engaging in a verbal feud with the Member of Parliament.<\/p>\n<p>Bishop Obinim acknowledged that Kennedy Agyapong initiated the conflict, and initially, he underestimated the potential impact it could have on his church.<\/p>\n<p><span id=\"ezoic-pub-ad-placeholder-912\" data-method=\"placement-service\"\/><span id=\"ezoic-pub-ad-placeholder-123\" data-inserter-version=\"2\"\/><\/p>\n<p>Believing it to be a spiritual battle, the bishop admitted to ignoring divine warnings against escalating the feud.<\/p>\n<p>Bishop Obinim admitted, \u201c<em>When I assessed my strength, I could have beaten Kennedy Agyapong and still have more energy in me, but not knowing my strength had to do with spiritual strength, and he was fighting me in the physical realm where he was more fit than me<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><span id=\"ezoic-pub-ad-placeholder-913\" data-method=\"placement-service\"\/><\/p>\n<p>Reflecting on the aftermath, Bishop Obinim lamented the significant decline in his church\u2019s membership, from over 1000 to less than 200. He emphasized the importance of assessing one\u2019s strengths and avoiding unnecessary conflicts.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"ezoic-autoinsert-video ezoic-under_second_paragraph\"\/><span id=\"ezoic-pub-ad-placeholder-124\" data-inserter-version=\"2\"\/><\/p>\n<p>He shared, \u201c<em>I used to have more than 1000 congregants, but when I met in church, I didn\u2019t even get 200 members. I wondered why I fought with him at all. He said that God told him several times to humble himself and back out of the fight, but he refused because he thought he was spiritually better than Kennedy Agyapong.<\/p>\n<p>Bishop Obinim said that he was very cocky at the time, which is why he wouldn\u2019t listen to God.<\/p>\n<p>Bishop Obinim said in the video that he felt embarrassed after his fight with Kennedy Agyapong because he lost a lot of useful things.<\/p>\n<p><span id=\"ezoic-pub-ad-placeholder-916\" data-method=\"placement-service\"\/><span id=\"ezoic-pub-ad-placeholder-126\" data-inserter-version=\"2\"\/><\/p>\n<p>He says that he doesn\u2019t have protection or police dogs following him around anymore.
