{"id":138228,"date":"2024-01-12T09:58:54","date_gmt":"2024-01-12T09:58:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2024\/01\/12\/well-build-a-prosperous-nation-through-more-wealth-creation-programmes-in-2024\/"},"modified":"2024-01-12T09:58:54","modified_gmt":"2024-01-12T09:58:54","slug":"well-build-a-prosperous-nation-through-more-wealth-creation-programmes-in-2024","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2024\/01\/12\/well-build-a-prosperous-nation-through-more-wealth-creation-programmes-in-2024\/","title":{"rendered":"We\u2019ll build a prosperous nation through more wealth-creation programmes in 2024"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>A Deputy Minister for Finance and Member of Parliament for Ejisu in the Ashanti Region, Dr. John Ampontuah Kumah, has reiterated the government\u2019s commitment to pursuing wealth creation programs in 2024 to benefit the country\u2019s teeming youthful population.<\/p>\n<p>The Deputy Minister for Finance, in charge of Wealth Creation, in a statement welcoming the New Year, acknowledged the efforts of the government in the past years to create wealth in building a prosperous nation.<\/p>\n<p>According to him, one of the significant developments so far in 2024 for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Ghana is the launch of the Business and Employment Assistance Programme (BEAP) by the Youth Employment Agency, under the leadership of its dedicated CEO, Mr. Kofi Baah Agyepong.<\/p>\n<p>The BEAP program aims to support 10,000 companies, leading to the creation of 20,000 jobs for young people across the country.
