They have therefore called on the police to investigate the matter.<\/p>\n<p>One of the traders who spoke to <strong><em>UTV<\/em><\/strong> said, \u201cWe have lost millions of cedis as a result of the outbreak; I can say on authority that the outbreak was done on purpose just to sack us from the market.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Some of the traders claim to have seen certain individuals at the market area hours before the incident, and have reason to believe that they were behind the incident.<\/p>\n<p>A member of the Public Relations Department of the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) Headquarters, ADO II Alex Nartey, speaking with\u00a0<strong><em>Citi News<\/em><\/strong>, revealed that the cause of the fire is currently unknown, and is under investigation.<\/p>\n<p>Emphasising the challenges encountered, he stated that the market was congested, making it difficult for his outfit to assist at the scene effectively.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere were a lot of obstructions. Lack of accessibility was a big challenge for our work. Our appliances couldn\u2019t even get through to where the actual fire was. We had to park somewhere quite far from the fire scene, and then drag our hoses all the way through to the fire scene, so it was quite a challenge for us.
