Some suspected Boko Haram terrorists have reportedly killed six people, including a pastor of the Church of Christ In Nations (COCIN), identified as Luka Levong, in Kwari, Geidam local government area of Yobe State.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

According to Channels Television, the assailants entered the community around 2:00 am on Friday.<\/p>\n

INFORMATION NIGERIA learnt that the gunmen reportedly shot Pastor Levong and Maina Abdullahi, the church treasurer during the attack.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the other victims were killed in their homes before security forces arrived. Additionally, the attackers burned down houses, a church, and vehicles.<\/p>\n

The incident is coming days after Boko Haram insurgents attacked a community in neighbouring Yobe State, killing 12 persons and injuring two others.<\/p>\n

A source told Channels TV that: \u201cThe terrorists stormed the community of Gatamarwa around 5 pm on Monday during the New Year celebration heavily armed with AK-47 rifles, came on motorcycles and Hilux vans, and opened fire on mourners returning from Gatamarwa.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey later attacked another Tsiha community near Shikarkir and killed three people and abducted a young lady burning houses and looting their foodstuffs.\u201d<\/p>\n
