{"id":136185,"date":"2024-01-02T13:59:03","date_gmt":"2024-01-02T13:59:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2024\/01\/02\/bawumia-celebrates-new-year-with-dance-moves-at-crossover-service\/"},"modified":"2024-01-02T13:59:03","modified_gmt":"2024-01-02T13:59:03","slug":"bawumia-celebrates-new-year-with-dance-moves-at-crossover-service","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2024\/01\/02\/bawumia-celebrates-new-year-with-dance-moves-at-crossover-service\/","title":{"rendered":"Bawumia celebrates New Year with dance moves at Crossover service \u2013"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div>\n<p><strong>A video of the Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, showcasing his dance moves during the 31st all-night celebration has popped up.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In a notable series of events, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the flagbearer of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), made visits to several churches in Accra that hosted 31st Night services, actively participating in ushering Ghanaians into the new year, 2024.<\/p>\n<p>Demonstrating his gracious demeanor, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia actively engaged in singing and dancing during the 31st Night services he attended, coupled with delivering inspirational New Year messages to uplift Ghanaians.<\/p>\n<p>Despite being the sitting Vice President of Ghana, Dr Bawumia seemed unfazed by the criticisms directed at him for his frequent visits to churches and the comments made during these visits, despite his Muslim faith.<\/p>\n<p>At the Pentecost International Worship Centre (PIWC) in Kokomlemle, Accra, Dr Bawumia could be seen dancing as he entered the centre with the chairman of the Church of Pentecost, Ghana, Apostle Eric Nyamekye.<\/p>\n<p>The vice president and team, who were all in white clothing, were joyously dancing to \u2018We Shall Sing Hosanna\u2019 as they were waving their white handkerchiefs.<\/p>\n<p>The Second Lady, Samira Bawumia, who was also with her husband, could also be seen dancing to honour God for the gift of 2024.<\/p>\n<p>Dr Bawumia, in his New Year\u2019s message at the PIWC, urged Ghanaians to jealously guide the democracy the country enjoys as it heads into an election year.<\/p>\n<p>He urged all stakeholders in the 2024 general election to resort to the court to resolve any grievance they have and not resort to violence.<\/p>\n<p>theindependentghana.com <\/p>\n<p><!-- AI CONTENT END 1 --><\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A video of the Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, showcasing his dance moves during the 31st all-night celebration has popped up.
