One local resident who witnessed the incident described it as terrifying
“I was walking along the street when I heard gunshots,” the witness said. “I turned around and saw the officer lying on the ground. It was clear that he had been shot. The robbers didn’t hesitate at all. They ran away quickly after the attack.”
After the incient, the police launched an investigation to catch the criminals responsible for the attack. They have increased patrols in the area and are urging anyone who has information about the suspects to come forward and help with the investigation.
