Courts hearing parliamentary petitions to sit on holidays and Saturdays; registries must work from 8am to 8pm—CJ Directs

Ghana’s Chief Justice has directed that court registries shall operate between the hours of 8:00 am and 8:00 pm on Saturdays and public holidays.

Also, all Superior Court judges who shall be assigned any parliamentary dispute or related matter shall have the power to sit on Saturdays and public holidays as in the discretion of the judge may be necessary for the expeditious disposal of the case.
