Viral video on social media shows Nana Kwame Bediako, popularly known as Cheddar, voting for number 1 on the ballot paper, suggesting that he did not vote for himself during the 2024 elections.
It would be recounted that, during the elections, Nana Kwame Bediako and his wife all voted at the same polling station. Interestingly, when the votes were counted, Cheddar only received a single vote.
While many speculated that his wife didn’t vote for him, the reality is quite different. His wife responded the allegations by clarifying that she voted for his husband.
Few days after the elections, video shared by social media user @sirbenjamin15 on X (formally twitter) showed that Cheddar didn’t vote for himself, instead he voted for the NPP.
The video has since received massive reactions on social media with many Ghanians questioning why Nana Kwame Bediako had to spend money on campaign when he did not believe in his own party’s victory.
