Tensions are running high in the Awutu Senya East constituency following allegations by Phillis Naa Koryoo Okunnor, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) parliamentary candidate, that her vehicle was pursued and fired upon by a convoy linked to Hawa Koomson. The incident, which she claims resulted in the death of one person, has cast a shadow over the election process in the area.
