Supporters of Ghana’s New Patriotic Party (NPP) were left disappointed during the party’s final rally ahead of the upcoming elections when the sound system suddenly malfunctioned. The unexpected technical failure disrupted the event just as key party leaders were addressing an enthusiastic crowd, creating confusion and frustration among attendees.
The rally, held to galvanize support and energize the base, had drawn thousands of supporters eager to hear from prominent NPP officials. However, the atmosphere shifted dramatically when the sound system abruptly failed. As speakers attempted to continue their addresses, their words were inaudible, leaving the crowd in disarray.
“This is unacceptable! How can this happen during such an important event?” one supporter exclaimed, voicing the frustration shared by many. Another attendee, visibly upset, remarked, “We’ve been waiting for this moment for so long, and now we can’t even hear what our leaders are saying.”
