Prophet Nigel Gaisie has disclosed that he and his family will cast their votes for John Mahama, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer, in the upcoming December 7 elections, as reported by News Ghana.
Speaking during an interview on UTV’s U-Cook with Empress Gifty, Prophet Gaisie outlined the spiritual basis for his choice.
He revealed that eight years ago, he received a divine vision instructing him to advocate for Mahama’s return to the presidency. Â
“There are prophets who can see but cannot hear from God, and there are others who can hear but cannot see visions. By the grace of God, I can both hear and see at the same time. While I was in Israel, during a moment of rest, the Holy Spirit spoke to me, instructing me to tell Ghanaians to bring John Mahama back, or the nation would suffer,” he said. Â
The prophet also recounted the personal repercussions of sharing this prophecy.
He noted a drastic decline in his church’s membership, dropping from 2,000 congregants to just 200. Additionally, his private television station was shut down unexpectedly following his declaration.
