‘Go back to the Supreme Court’ – Ghanaians ‘mock’ Afenyo-Markin after Bagbin declines to recall Parliament

The Member of Parliament for Effutu, Alexander Kwamina Afenyo-Markin, is making headlines after Speaker Bagbin rejected the NPP caucus’s request for a parliamentary recall to address urgent government matters.

In a memo to the leader of government business on November 26, 2024, Bagbin stated that summoning the House just a few days before the elections would not be in the nation’s best interest.
