The leader of the NPP Caucus in Parliament has drawn a lot of criticism for his behavior and fixation with the title of majority leader.
Lawyer Afenyo Markins confronted a reporter from an Accra-based television station before the Supreme Court’s final ruling in the Vacant Seat case after he overheard the reporter referring to him as the “Leader of the NPP Caucus.” The journalist was told by the Effutu M.P. to address him properly after the court’s decision.
Ghanaians’ reactions to the video have not been positive. Some have criticized the congressman for his fixation on the job, while others have praised the journalist for his professionalism.
The dynamic actress Lydia Forson is one of them. To appear to offer a remedy for the Effutu M.P., she resorted to social media. Printing a shirt that reads “Majority Leader” is the finest approach to patch things up with the man, she wrote in her post. She mentioned that it will facilitate his ability to identify the issue he wishes to solve.
