The Ghana Meteorological Agency has issued a notice on the possible intermittent weather changes for the next 24 hours for today, 30th October, 2024. Yesterday, the rains interrupted most events which were organized after the afternoon. Yesterday’s weather prediction was very accurate hence we should consider these updates in planning our outdoor activities.
In a post sighted via the official twitter page of the Ghana Meteorological Agency is the weather for update for today. The coastline of Ghana will experience a variably cloudy morning , sunny intervals in the afternoon with a partially cloudy evening. Zones slightly above the coastal areas are also expected to have a misty morning, sunny intervals in some parts and also rains in other parts in the afternoon with chances of thunderstorms and rains over the whole zone in the evening. The middle and transition belt zones are also expected to have a partially cloudy morning mist and fog patches over mountainous areas. Chances of rains and thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening over the whole zone. The northern belt zone is expected to have a partly cloudy morning, sunny periods in the north in the afternoon and a cloudy weather in the evening in almost all areas as indicated on the summary sheet below.
In summary, most areas within the country are expected to be variably cloudy this morning, with cases of rain along some parts of the coastline. Mist or fog patches will form over the coastline and some areas inland. Transitioning into the afternoon hours, sunny conditions will dominate most parts of the country with occasional cloudiness over southern Ghana. However, from late afternoon into the evening , there’s a possibility of thunderstorms or rain affecting areas north of the coastline and transition sectors.
