Sports journalist, Saddick Adams, has lauded the Ghana Football Association (GFA) over the recent launch of floodlights at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence located at Prampram.
In a post on X dated April 25, 2024, he noted that the floodlights will significantly allow for national team players to train at the facility in the evenings if need be.
“For the first time ever, players of our national teams can train at night at our National Training Complex. Shouldn’t have taken this long but better late than never. A major step. Kudos to the GFA,” the caption of his post read.
It was accompanied by three aerial shots of the facility at night.
The lights show the fully-lit pitch at the centre with the Prampram township in the background.
The GFA has serially been criticized for the substandard facilities at the centre.
Saddick, alias Sports Obama, was a lead convener of a group that recently held a protest against the mismanagement of football in the country.
