Ayawaso West Wugon Parliamentary candidate for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dumelo has laughed off the decision by Lydia Alhasaan to transport students from the University of Ghana to their various destinations on vacation day.
According to him, she provided transport for his people and that will not change their minds to vote for her during the 2024 elections.
He says when the students got home, they called to inform him that they had arrived.
“Tough battle? Lol. The students she’s transporting are my people. They called me to say they have arrived safely home,” he responded to a tweep who said the battle would be very tough for him considering what his opponent was doing.
John Dumelo is contesting Lydia Alhassan for the second time in the Parliamentary race.
The actor cum Businessman believes that he will make exploits in this second attempt because he has righted his wrongs from the 2020 defeat.
Lydia Alhassan is said to have provided transportation for Levelm100 students of the University of Ghana who are going home for a two weeks vacation.
The Member of Parliament was seen in videos shared on social media interacting with the students who were going back home after weeks of grueling studies and exams.
