Controversial media personality, Sally Mann has taken a swipe at Ghanaian musician, Akwaboah Jnr, labeling him an ungrateful and selfish being.
This comes after the musician publicly expressed his displeasure over the decision of his two colleagues and confidants, Kwabena Kwabena and Becca to host a program on 14th February 2024, the same day he, Akwaboah holds his annual “Shades of Love” concert.
In her reaction, Sally Mann has said that it was God who created 14th February so Akwaboah should stop acting as though it was created by his parents.
“The February 14, 2024, date was not instituted by Akwaboah’s parents; it was God who created it so there is no way Akwaboah can claim that because he has scheduled his programme for February 14, 2024, no artiste should hold an event on that date,” she said.
According to the controversial media personality, there was no sense in Akwaboah publicly expressing his displeasure over the decision made by his two former confidants, suggesting that even if they wronged him, he could have approached them rather than sitting on the radio to publicly talk about it.
“It was wrong on all standards for him to call out the two musicians (Kwabena Kwabena and Becca) during an interview. Even if they had wronged you, he shouldn’t have handled the issue in that manner,” the controversial media personality added.
Sally Mann added that the two musicians Akwaboah is fighting contributed immensely to his brand, making him the Akwaboah he is today.
“Akwaboah became popular through Banson, who was managing Becca by then. So the two individuals Kwabena Kwabena and Becca have played a pivotal role in his music career so he could have done better.
