We Are Sorry For Not Performing Well- Dede Ayew Apologizes to Ghanaians

Following their abysmal performance in the ongoing AFCON 2023, Black Stars captain, Dede Ayew has apologized to Ghanaians.

The Black Stars played a drawing match with both Egypt and Mozambique and lost to Capen Verde in their first match.

With just 2 points, the Black Stars have existed from the ongoing AFCON.

It is reported that the Black Stars coach, Chris Hughton has been relieved from his work as a coach, and the players, on the other side, have been heavily criticized.

Dede Ayew has finally, via a social media post rendered an apology to Ghanaians for their abysmal performance in the AFCON.

“We are sorry for not performing well. All we have ever wanted is to serve our country with our gifts. We will surely come back better“.

He added that he is deeply sorry for the mistakes he made in the final match with Mozambique which made them not win the match.

“Once again, I am truly sorry for my actions and the consequences they brought. I hope you can find it in your heart to forgive me and give me another chance to prove myself as a dedicated and responsible teammate. Thank you for your understanding and consideration,” he said.

Meanwhile, comic Kumawood actor Kwaku Manu has advised Dede Ayew to retire before he destroys his father’s hard-earned legacy.

According to Kwaku Manu, Abedi Pele, Dede Ayew’s father worked so hard to get the recognition that he has gotten, and if care is not taken, Dede Ayew will destroy everything the father has worked for.

Kwaku Manu stated categorically that Dede Ayew’s performance for some time now is very poor and retiring will be the best option to save him and his family from shame.
