Countryman Songo Cannot Be Ghana’s Coach Because It Is Not A Weed Competition- Ghanaians

We woke up to violence today as Ghanaians have heavily descended on renowned sports journalist, Countryman Songo.

Chris Hughton, former coach for the Ghana Black Stars lost his job as a coach following the abysmal performance of the Black Stars in the ongoing AFCON.

Per reports, even though the players lacked motivation, and communication and were not serious, Chirs Hughton did not perform well as a coach.

His replacement has now become something many Ghanaians are pondering over.

A blogger known as Kumi Kasa took to his official Facebook page to suggest that controversial sports journalist, Countryman Songo should be allowed to coach the Ghana Black Stars.

He posted a picture of Countryman Songo and captioned it “Let’s give him the coaching job”.

Kumi Kasa did not give reasons to buttress his assertion, it is obvious that he made that suggestion because of the journalist’s continuous criticisms of the Black Stars.

Countryman Songo is well known for always criticizing the Black Stars when he feels they performed abysmally.

He also scolds the Black Stars’ players when he feels they did not perform well or something is to be done properly.

Just recently, he scolded hyped Black Stars’ player, Mohammed Kudus following Ghana’s loss to Cape Verde in the ongoing AFCON.

According to him, Mohammed Kudus is not the best Black Stars player so Ghanaians should stop overhyping him.

He believes Mohammed Kudus has not done anything great for the team, hence, Ghanaians should stop acting as if he is the ‘Messiah’.

“What makes him the best player? What has he done for the Black Stars?” He quizzed.

Regardless of all these qualities of Songo, Ghanaians still do not see him worthy of becoming a coach for the Black Stars and have for that matter trashed Kumi Kasa’s suggestion.

According to most, Countryman Songo does not deserve to coach the Black Stars.

They claim the controversial journalist is a chronic weed smoker and coaching Black Stars is not a weed-smoking competition.

“Football is not a weed competition”, a social media user commented.
