W’agyima paaa – Angry Samini drags Richard Ofori over costly mistake

Tensions are currently high in Ghana and they started as a result of another poor showing by the senior male national team, the Black Stars, at the African Cup of Nations tournament in Ivory Coast.

The Black Stars needed a win against Mozambique in their final group stage match to edge past the group stage and secure qualifications for the knockout stage of the competition but that qualification dream is currently in jeopardy.

This is because, despite taking a two-goal lead until the 90th minute, they bottled it by conceding two extra-time goals and were forced to settle for a 2-2 draw instead.

The second goal, which came through a corner kick, was undeniably an avoidable mistake by the Ghanaian goalkeeper, Richard Ofori, who, whatever the reason, decided to touch a ball that was heading toward a goal-kick advantage for Ghana.

His costly mistake drew many criticisms from all corners of the country, including musician Samini, who couldn’t help but let his frustration known in a video he shared via his social media platforms.

In the video, the Linda hitmaker could be seen using a water bottle as a ball to display how exactly Richard Ofori made the mistake that went on to be the heartbreaking moment Ghans conceded the late equalizer.

Samini, who was visibly furious, just like all other Ghanaians were displaying at the moment, even proceeded to label him as a foolish guy.
