Information reaching the news desk of Ghbase.com has it that Black Stars coach, Chris Hughton has been sacked.
The sad news was made known by Juliet Bawuah via a social media post.
Juliet Bawuah took to her official page to write “Breaking News. Chris Hughton sacked as Black Stars coach”.
The reason for Chris Hughton’s dismissal was not made known in the post, it is clear that he has been relieved of his position because of the bad performance of the Black Stars in the AFCON.
The Black Stars played against Mozambique yesterday, January 2022 but it was quite unfortunate that after the match Ghana had no option but to exit from the tournament.
Football lovers and Ghanaians following this have descended heavily on both the players and the coach for the abysmal performance.

Former Togolese international striker Emmanuel Adebayor Sheyi has reacted to the Black Stars’ exit from the ongoing African Cup of Nations tournament after playing a drawing match with Mozambique.
Reacting to this, Emmanuel Adebayor has expressed disappointment in the Black Stars players.
According to Emmanuel Adebayor, there was no seriousness on the part of the Black Stars in their match against Mozambique.
He claims he is not taken aback at the Black Stars’ loss because they played with no motivation, communication, or seriousness.
To him, the Black Stars came to the AFCON to have fun and not to win matches.
