Ghanaian actress Vivian Jill revealed some interesting happenings in her life involving a pastor who almost broke her family apart back in the day.
It is a well-known secret that when things get tough for a family going through some sort of hardship, they turn to some men of God for Christian teachings and deliverance from whatever could be causing the problems in their household.
Sadly, Vivian Jill and her family took the same path some years ago but it ended up being a regrettable decision for them, as she narrated how the pastor nearly broke her family apart with his fake revelations.
During an interview with Emelia Brobbey on her Okukuseku show, the actress opened up about how her first child’s father was involved in an accident and her family thought they needed the intervention of a pastor to help him recover; hence, they invited a pastor to their home to see them through their situation.
“When Clinton’s father got involved in an accident, he stayed at my house until he recovered. During his recovery days, we invited a pastor into our house and he stayed there for eight years. I was only 15–16 years old.
My family was going through a lot and we thought a pastor would deliver us from our situation, which is why he stayed with us. She stated that he prayed for my husband and engaged us in some church activities.
Vivian further made the revelation that it got to the point where the family got into some sort of discomfort with her and she realized everyone was just giving her attitude, including her sick husband.
It wasn’t until she approached her husband to seek clarification about his new attitude towards her that she realized the pastor had told him she is responsible for his predicament.
“It got to a point Harry (baby daddy) was giving me attitude. He suddenly changed, my mother also changed and my Auntie as well. It went on for some time until I approached to find out what was going on with him. He opened up to me and he said the pastor says I want to kill him. I informed my mother and auntie about it and not knowing, he had polluted their minds too and was planning to break the family”.
How a pastor deceived a Ghanaian lady
A Ghanaian lady has narrated the sad moment she was convicted by a man of God to divorce her husband, which went on to be a regrettable action for her.
The lady, identified as Eunice Darko, made the sad revelation that she found another man after separating from her first husband and she thought it was a good moment for her to be in the arms of her new man until her pastor came into the scene.
According to her, the pastor successfully convinced her based on religious beliefs that it was wrong for her to remarry another man when her roommate was still alive.
