Ace broadcast journalist Bridget Otoo has sharply criticized Nana Kwame Bediako, also known as Cheddar, after his recent comments about collaborating with former President John Mahama’s administration.
Cheddar, the leader and founder of the new force, spoke highly of Mahama’s vision for Ghana’s future and expressed his willingness to work together with his government for the country’s prosperity.
In his public statement, Cheddar emphasized the importance of unity for Ghana’s development. He argued that Ghana’s challenges cannot be solved by one party or group alone, but rather through collective efforts from all parties.
He praised the political move by Alan Kyeremanten, who he believes made a positive contribution to Mahama’s transformative plans for the country.

However, Bridget Otoo was not impressed with Cheddar’s statement.
On social media platform X, she reminded Cheddar of his previous controversial claims that the Galamsey protests were being sponsored by the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
Otoo, a well-known critic of Cheddar, fired back at him, saying, “Galamsey protests was sponsored by NDC… he should find a more gullible group to scam!”
Her response was met with mixed reactions on social media. While some supported her sharp criticism, others defended Cheddar’s views on unity and development.
Otoo’s comments drew attention to the ongoing political tensions in Ghana, particularly the divisive issues surrounding the Galamsey protests and political alliances.
Cheddar’s comments about unity and collaboration may have been intended to encourage peace and progress for Ghana, but Otoo’s response highlights the deep mistrust between some public figures.
