According to MyNewsGH on Wednesday, December 25, 2024, Despite the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) loss to the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Prophet Appiah remains determined to restore the NPP to power through prayer and fasting.
In a recent interview on Wontumi Radio, he declared his unwavering belief that the NPP would return to power, even if it took “100 years.”
He drew inspiration from biblical figures like Esther and Mordecai, promising divine intervention to change the political landscape.
Prophet Appiah’s earlier prophecy, which predicted a victory for Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia in the 2024 elections, caused much excitement among his followers.
He had even described a vision of Bawumia and Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh’s attire on Inauguration Day, scheduled for January 7, 2025.
However, following the announcement of John Mahama’s victory by the Electoral Commission, many questioned the accuracy of his prediction.
Despite the unexpected results, Prophet Appiah insists that the outcome is not a sign of prophecy failure.
He believes the loss was part of a divine plan to preserve peace in the country. “God saw that if the NPP had won the 2024 elections, there would have been war,” he stated, adding that it was a necessary intervention to avoid conflict.
