Actor John Dumelo has said that a number of people wrote him off in the 2024 contest against Lydia Alhassan.
They advanced several arguments that suggested he could not lead the people of Ayawaso West Wugon.
According to him, some of the arguments were that the constituency is an elite constituency and that an actor cannot be made to represent it in Parliament.
