Patrick Yaw Boamah of the NPP has been declared winner of the Okaikwei Central parliamentary seat after a recollation, overturning the earlier victory of NDC’s Baba Sadiq.
In the 2024 parliamentary elections, the Okaikwei Central constituency experienced a significant shift in representation.
Abdulai Abu Baba Abubakar Sadiq of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) was initially declared the winner, securing 15,383 votes against the incumbent, Patrick Yaw Boamah, who received 14,949 votes.
