Akufo-Addo Gov’t Handed Over 200 Pickups, 200 Motorbikes And 20 Land Cruisers To Mahama- Bartels

The member of parliament for Ablekuma North constituency, Hon Sheila Bartels has revealed that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) led President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has so far handed over 200 pickups, 200 motorbikes and 20 land cruisers, all which are brand new to incoming National Democratic Congress(NDC) administration through the transition team.
Sharing the information on her official Facebook page, Sheila Bartels said the New Patriotic Party government did that to ensure the new administration, led by John Dramani Mahama will have enough resources to kick start government agenda as soon as possible without depending on taxpayers money.
Hon Sheila Bartels further urged the incoming administration to prioritise cost-saving measures to avoid unnecessary expenditure on new vehicles, stating, “there should be no purchase of cars or V8s to save taxpayers’ money. Everyone should use the old cars.
The transition process between the NPP and NDC continue to attract public interest as citizens anticipate how the incoming government will manage resources handed over to them.
