Captain Smart Opens Up About Personal Life and Career Challenges

Prominent Ghanaian journalist Captain Smart recently shared candid details about his personal life and career during an appearance on Onua TV. The outspoken broadcaster addressed rumors about his relationships and allegations of misconduct during his time at Angel Broadcasting Network (ABN), including claims about his former boss, Dr. Kwaku Oteng.

Captain Smart vehemently denied accusations of promiscuity, stating that the number of women he has been involved with is fewer than 14. “I swear, the suffering I have gone through in this life, the number of women who have seen my naked body will not reach 14,” he said.

The journalist also recounted an incident at ABN involving a receptionist named Grace and the General Manager. Captain Smart claimed he witnessed suspicious behavior, with the door to the General Manager’s office being locked for an extended period. He raised concerns about potential misconduct behind closed doors.

Additionally, Captain Smart revealed the professional challenges he faced at ABN, including gossip and sabotage, which ultimately led to his resignation. He also claimed political interference played a role in his departure, alleging that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) pressured Dr. Oteng to fire him. According to Captain Smart, the NPP insisted that Dr. Oteng’s daughter, Francisca Oteng, could not become a Deputy Minister unless he terminated his contract with him.

These revelations have sparked public debate, shedding light on the complex relationship between politics, media, and private business in Ghana. His comments have drawn both support and criticism from the public.
