The Volta Regional Youth Wing of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has congratulated President-elect John Dramani Mahama following his victory in the 2024 general elections.
This comes after the Electoral Commission declared Mahama the winner of the presidential race on December 9.
In a statement, the NDC Youth Wing described the victory as “emphatic and well-deserved,” reflecting the confidence Ghanaians have in Mahama’s leadership.
“The Volta Regional Youth Wing of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) congratulates H.E. John Dramani Mahama on your emphatic and well-deserved victory in the 2024 presidential elections.
“This remarkable achievement stands as a clear testament to the unwavering trust that Ghanaians have in your visionary leadership and transformative agenda for Ghana We Want,” part of the statement read.
Additionally, the group extended their congratulatory message to the newly elected Members of Parliament in the Volta Region.
“The Regional Youth wing also extends our heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to our newly elected MPs who worked hard to secure all the 18 Parliamentary seats in the Volta Region for the great NDC, including the previously orphaned Hohoe Constituency,” the group added.
