The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has rejected the declaration of Ernest Yaw Kumi of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) as the Member of Parliament-elect for the Akwatia constituency in the Eastern Region.On Thursday, December 12, the Electoral Commission (EC) moved the collation of disputed results from some constituencies in the Eastern Region to the Police Training School in Tesano, Accra, to prevent further chaos.
Following the re-collation, the returning officer declared Ernest Yaw Kumi as the winner.However,
