Edwin Nii Lante Vanderpuye, the Member of Parliament for Odododiodoo, has expressed confidence in a landslide victory for John Dramani Mahama in the upcoming 2024 elections.
His bold prediction comes as the election campaign enters its final stages, with heightened political activity and tensions across the country.
Vanderpuye made this assertion during an interview on Eyewitness News on Citi FM on Wednesday.
“John Mahama will already be a president in 2025. Even before the ballot is cast. You need to hear what Ghanaians are saying. I don’t just give predictions and it fails.
“Let me tell you this: It is obvious, it is clear wherever we have been, John Mahama is winning these elections hands down,” Vanderpuye declared.
Vanderpuye’s confidence extends to his constituency, where he expressed unwavering support for his successor, Alfred Nii Ashie Kotei.
“You mentioned my constituency, no matter what, Honourable Ashie Kotei will win. Alfred Nii Ashie Kotei will be my successor,” he stated.
