Angry Minister Destroys Coconut Sellers Table And Seized Other Items At Flowerpot Interchange

The member of Parliament for Tema East Constituency as well as the Regional minister of Accra Daniel Nii Kwartei Titus Glover broke down table and other items belonging to a coconut seller at the Flowerpot Interchange In Accra.
The minister who spoke on Joy News said he couldn’t stand the sight of seeing some women hawking under the newly constructed Interchange whiles on his way to Dodowa.He therefore decided to demolish the table of a woman selling coconut as well as pack and seized items of some selling banana and groundnut.
He again added that he doesn’t want to see any kiosks or containers put up at the Interchange since it would destroy the beauty of the Interchange.He however asked that some security guards be sent there to ensure no hawking takes place there.
Some food vendors who also spoke to Joy News were not happy with the deputy minister’s actions and has called on government to get them place or will refuse any attempt to be evicted.
