I respect him as a genuine man of God, I believe his prophecy will not come to pass—Boateng Ameyaw

In a recent interview with popular YouTuber and blogger Boateng Ameyaw, Ghanaian gospel musician Diana Asamoah has publicly called out Prophet Isaac Owusu Bempah, the founder and leader of Glorious Word Power Ministry International, alongside Kevin Taylor, the host of With All Due Respect on Loud Silence TV. The discussion, which has quickly gained traction on social media, centers on Owusu Bempah’s controversial prophecy regarding the upcoming 2024 elections and Asamoah’s support for Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.

Asamoah, known for her fervent gospel music and dedication to her faith, began by acknowledging Prophet Owusu Bempah’s reputation as a man of God. However, she did not hesitate to express her disapproval of his recent predictions related to the elections, categorizing them as “out of order.” “While I respect him as a genuine man of God, I believe that his prophecy will not come to pass,” she stated emphatically, urging Ghanaians, especially supporters of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), to remain hopeful despite the foreboding messages.

In a time when Ghana is gearing up for elections, Asamoah’s remarks resonate with many who are concerned about political stability and the potential impact of prophetic declarations on the electoral process. She emphasized that this is a crucial period for hard work and dedication rather than relying on prophecies. “We need to focus on what we can do as a nation. Dr. Bawumia and President Akufo-Addo genuinely care for our country, and they are the leaders we need to support during these challenging times,” she asserted.

Asamoah’s criticisms extended beyond prophetic declarations to Kevin Taylor, whom she accused of insulting her for her public support of Dr. Bawumia. She expressed frustration over what she perceives as unfair treatment from the media host, stating that his comments reflect a lack of respect for differing political opinions. “Just because I choose to support Dr. Bawumia, it doesn’t mean I deserve to be insulted,” she said, highlighting the divisive nature of political discourse in Ghana.
