Ida Adjoa Asiedu Don’t Have Control Over Ayensuano Lands- Coaltar Chief

In a show of solidarity, Barima Okekeribese Asiedu II, Chief of Kraboa Coltar in the Ayensuano District, has come out swinging in defense of Ida Adjoa Asiedu, the New Patriotic Party Parliamentary candidate for the area.

Adjoa Asiedu’s candidacy has been marred by baseless accusations from opposition National Democratic Congress members in the Constituency, who claim she’s planning to seize lands if elected.

The NDC’s smear campaign alleges that Asiedu, who hails from Asuboi-Anom, is not a true constituent and has been recruited by Okyenhene Osagyefuo Amoatia Ofori Panin to take over lands.

However, both Adjoa Asiedu and the Chief have vehemently denied these claims.

Adjoa Asiedu emphasized that she has no connection to the Okyenhene and no interest in land issues.

During a courtesy call, the Chief expressed concern over the false accusations and warned Adjoa Asiedu’s opponents to focus on their campaign instead of tarnishing her image.

He also declared his support for Ida Adjoa Asiedu, urging the government to address the constituency’s deplorable roads.

Adjoa Asiedu, who has already made a name for herself through her community development projects, including building a tissue factory and improving roads, remains committed to her vision for the constituency.

She has pledged to prioritize education, healthcare, and job creation, and has called on the chiefs to have faith in her and vote for her and Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia in the upcoming elections.

The Chief’s endorsement is a significant boost to Ida Asiedu’s campaign, demonstrating that local leaders are willing to stand up against baseless attacks.
