The Africa Center for Digital Transformation (ACDT) has issued a strong warning, urging the Electoral Commission of Ghana (EC) to conduct an immediate and comprehensive forensic audit of its IT systems.
At a press conference held on October 14, 2024, ACDT’s Executive Director, Kwesi Atuahene, raised alarm over the security vulnerabilities within the EC’s IT infrastructure, which could potentially compromise the integrity of the upcoming elections.
