Some Graduates of Ghana’s Free Senior High School policy have urged fellow beneficiaries to unite and vote for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the 2024 polls.
These graduates believe that voting for any other party would be a huge mistake, considering the NPP’s implementation of the policy that has benefited millions of Ghanaian youth.
Some of the graduates in an interview with OTEC News Reporter Jacob Agyenim Boateng on Sunday, October 13, 2024 expressed their gratitude to the NPP government for the policy.
They vowed to reward the NPP with massive votes for providing them with free high school education.
Elorm Owusu, one of the graduates, credited the policy for her opportunity to attend a tertiary institution and pledged her loyalty to the NPP government.
“For me, I will vote for the NPP on any day having gone to SHS for free.” She said.
Kwabena Gyamfi, another graduate, emphasized that no party can better protect the policy than its implementers.
“I am of the view that, the policy will be better protected if NPP remains in power, hence my advocacy for other beneficiaries to vote massively for them.”
For their part, some Parents and guardians in the region also supported the calls made by the youth, describing the policy as the best social intervention program in Ghana’s history.
They expressed their willingness to vote overwhelmingly for the NPP in the 2024 polls, citing the significant financial burden lifted from their shoulders.
