An Accra court on Friday, September 13, 2024, remanded Mohammed Ibrahim, who threatened to harm public officials, into police custody.
Ibrahim, also known as Kanawu, was arrested on Wednesday, September 11, 2024, after a viral video surfaced showing him making threats against public officials and anyone who stood in his way.
The Ghana Police Service had declared him wanted on September 9, 2024, and offered a GH¢50,000 reward for information leading to his arrest.
According to the police, investigations are ongoing, and Ibrahim is scheduled to reappear in court on September 26, 2024.
