LilWin’s ‘A country called Ghana’ gains nomination at the 2024 Nollywood Film Festival –

The latest film by Ghanaian actor Kwadwo Nkansah, also known as Lilwin, “A Country Called Ghana,” has been nominated and is set to be screened at the 2024 Nollywood Film Festival in Germany.

Directed by Frank Fiifi Gharbin and executively directed by Lilwin himself, this Ghana-Nigeria collaboration features prominent actors such as Ramsey Nouah, Charles Awurum, Victor Osuagwu (popularly known as Awilo Sharp Sharp), Paa George, and Sweet Mimi.

The film aims to entertain and educate audiences on the importance of preserving cultural heritage and is striving for a spot on Netflix to achieve global recognition.

The Nollywood Festival/NEGA Awards Germany, an annual event that highlights the best of Nollywood to the German audience, aims to foster international trade and exchange in this emerging market.

The 2024 edition of the festival will take place on August 3rd at GOETHE University’s Purple Cinema in Frankfurt AM Main, Germany.

Kwadwo Nkansah, known professionally as Lilwin, is a multifaceted Ghanaian entertainer, renowned as an actor, comedian, and musician.

He is also the founder and director of Great Minds International School in Kumasi and the CEO of Weezy Empire, based in the Ashanti Region of Ghana.
