Ghanaian winger Sirlord Conteh joins FC Heidenheim –

German-born Ghanaian winger Sirlord Conteh has completed his transfer from SC Paderborn 07 to FC Heidenheim, signifying an important development for both the player and the German football scene.

The team from the Ostalb region announced Conteh’s signing on Monday, solidifying the winger’s addition to their roster.

During his formative years, Sirlord Calvin Conteh honed his skills with various teams in Hamburg: between 2011 and 2013, he was part of SC Concordia Hamburg’s youth and U17 teams, followed by a stint at the local club Vorwärts-Wacker Billstedt.

Six months later, the then-17-year-old Conteh advanced to VfB Lübeck’s U19 squad, and in July 2014, he joined TSV Sasel. His journey continued with FC St. Pauli’s second team, where he played from the summer of 2015 until the summer of 2019, before a three-year tenure at FC Magdeburg.

Manager Robert Strauß welcomed Conteh with enthusiasm, commending his remarkable agility and foreseeing that Conteh’s dynamic approach will be an asset to the team’s strategic play.

At 27, Conteh has committed to FC Heidenheim with a contract extending to 2027, underscoring his readiness for this new chapter.

Conteh shared his own excitement about joining Heidenheim, reflecting on his past experiences with the club and his acquaintance with the Schlossberg stadium.

With confidence in his seasoned expertise, Conteh is poised to contribute significantly to his new team, affirming his dedication to FC Heidenheim and acknowledging SC Paderborn 07 for their supportive role in this transition.
