The celebration, themed “Our Democracy Our Pride,” took place at the newly commissioned 5,000-seater Koforidua Youth Resource Center.

The day’s festivities symbolized a significant moment of national pride and unity.

The event was marked by a lively atmosphere, with a notable lineup of participants. This includes nine Public and Private Basic Schools, as well as three leading Senior High Schools within the Municipality.

The ceremony was graced by the presence of several distinguished figures. Among them are the Municipal Chief Executive, the MP for Korley Klottey, Dr. Zanetor Agyemang Rawlings, and the Regional Minister Designate, Titus Glover, along with a host of other respected dignitaries.

As the excitement mounts, the parade inspection is currently in progress. This sets the stage for the delivery of inspiring Independence Day speeches by the esteemed guests.
