You Sing “Nsuo Na Muna” And Come And Advise Me, I Won’t Take Your Advice- Kuami Eugene Fires Samini

In response to Samini’s advice to him regarding going international as a musician, highlife artist Kuami Eugene says that Samini is more local than he is.

Kuami Eugene dragged Samini in a recent interview with Mc Portfolio which ghbase.com monitored.

Kuami Eugene has said he respects people’s opinions so much, however, if anyone should advise him on going international, it should not be Samini.

According to him, even though Samini’s advice to him might sound sensible in one way or the other to some people, he still chose to sweep it under the canopy.

Kuami Eugene claims before someone could advise on something, the person must at least be perfect in that thing but in Samini’s case, he is doing what he says Kuami Eugene should stop.

“I say it is difficult to take this advice from him because he is doing what he is talking about”, Rockstar said.

In buttressing his assertion, he stated “Do you get what I mean, in terms of if he says my song appeals to… it is local, his song appeals to, it is even local than mine. Is he not the one who sang Nsuo na muna b3hye d3m ma y3nda? Do you get what I mean?”, he added.

He stated that he still respects Samini as a legendary musician, but he will never take his advice, saying that he can take his advice and go globally himself.

“Coming from him, I will still respect him but it is very dicey, it does not pain me at all. If you say something pains someone then you mean it has pained me. It never pained me. But I will not take his advice and that does not mean that it pains me. He is a legend and has every right, as Ghanaians we are very opinionated and want to make suggestions on everything but it is not everything we can make suggestions on. So the fact that I didn’t listen to him doesn’t mean I don’t respect him or it pains me”, he said.
