Mr. Kofi Owusu Aduonum, husband of Guinness World Record sing-a-thon attemptee , Afua Asantewaa has caused a stir online.
In a video sighted by Ghbase.com, Mr. Owusu said that no man can snatch his wife from him, irrespective of how rich or powerful they are.
When asked in an interview if he is afraid of losing his wife because of the popularity and the rich and powerful men she meets these days, Mr. Owusu said he is never afraid.
He claims his wife, Afua Asantewaa was meeting richer and more powerful before she even started her sing-a-thon attempt.
The husband of the current internet sensation said that he could mention names of big people who have once chased his wife before her sing-a-thon attempt, however, he thinks there is no need to do that.
According to him, he trusts his wife so much that he can confidently say without a shadow of a doubt that no man can take her from him.
He added that if a girl is bad, no matter what she would do whatever she wants to do but insisted that is not the case of his wife, Afua Asantewaa.
“She was meeting bigger people before. People knew her before. Many people think it is the sing-a-thon that made her popular but that is not so. She was popular way back, I can even mention names but there is no need”, he said.
“If a girl is bad, she is bad. Do you understand? I am not afraid of anyone or anything. Do you get it?”
On December 24, 2023, Afua Asantewaa embarked on a task to set the record for the longest-singing marathon in the Guinness World Record.
The historic event took place in Akwaaba village, located in Accra, Ghana.
Vice President, Bawumia, Sarkodie, Shatta Wale, Stonebwoy, Kuami Eugene, Kwabena Kwabena, Lilwin, and Becca, among other personalities, went to support her.
