Ghanaian actress and fashion designer, Pascaline Edwards, has shown immense empathy and understanding for the financial challenges faced by fellow entertainer Funny Face.
In an exclusive interview with Pulse Ghana, the multiple award-winning actress shared her insights into the tumultuous experiences that may have contributed to Funny Face’s current predicament.
During the interview, Pascaline Edwards, renowned for her roles in various Ghanaian films, did not mince words as she acknowledged Funny Face’s recent trials and tribulations.
She expressed understanding of the comedian’s financial woes, attributing them to the hardships he has endured.
Recall that somewhere last week, the popular actor recently made headlines when he revealed that he hadn’t seen his daughters in four years, citing financial struggles as the primary reason.
Funny Face also pleaded with the public to refrain from tarnishing his image and begged for support as he actively sought ambassadorial deals to improve his financial situation.
Reacting to Funny Face’s issue, Pascaline said;
“I’m not surprised Funny Face is broke. Oh, his case is a very dicey one. The guy has gone through hell and back.
So why won’t he be broke? He is trying to pick up the pieces. So yes, I’m not surprised at all that he is broke.”
Meanwhile, former Blackstars skipper Asamoah Gyan is soliciting funds from the internet community to help put Funny Face back on tack again.
Asamoah Gyan personally donated Ghc 1000 into Funny Face’s MoMo account last Sunday and other social media users have also followied suit.
