A horrific car accident a few days ago claimed the life of the bodyguard for Samira Bawumia, the second lady of Ghana.
The bodyguard, Fuseini Mumuni, has reportedly been working for the Bawumia family since 2008.
While the convoy of Samira Bawumia was traveling back to Accra from Bonwire in the Ashanti Region, a commercial car struck them.
Along with the other numerous officials, Sammi Awuku, the Director General of the National Lottery Authority (NLA), said goodbye to Fuseni Mumuni.
Today, January 23 is the final prayers for the late aide and Samira Bawumia could not escape from trolls from social media users.
Pictures of the scene are currently going viral on social media.
Among the numerous pictures are those of the second lady crying which have sparked a lot of reaction on social media.
Ghanaians claim the second lady is only shedding crocodile tears.
According to them, if Samira Bawumia was really hurt she would not have spent ample time on her looks.
“She een had time to do makeup. I zoomed in like five times,” one netizen wrote.
Others are also with the view that in reality, Samira Bawumia is thankful to God that her aide lost his life instead of her.
“In her mind she is thanking God for life and the fact that she could have been the one,” another wrote.
Samira Bawumia narrowly escapes ghastly accident; one of her entourage dies on the spot
According to the latest information obtained by Ghbase, it has been reported that Samira Bawumia, the wife of the Vice President of Ghana, was involved in a tragic accident that resulted in the unfortunate loss of one of her team members.
The incident occurred just a few hours ago. In a recent Facebook post made by George Kwarteng Adenta, a member of Mrs. Samira Bawumia’s team, he reassured everyone that she is safe and unharmed.
Adenta shared the sad situation on his Facebook page, writing:
“Earlier today, while travelling to Kumasi with the Second Lady, Samira Bawumia, a sprinter bus narrowly avoided colliding with the car of the Second Lady at Juaso but unfortunately ran into the two cars after hers. The Second Lady is safe and doing well.
Regrettably, one of our team members lost his life instantly. This is very unfortunate. May our brother’s soul rest in peace, as we thank God for the life of the Second Lady and the rest of the team.
