Ghanaian socialite and influencer, Naomi Asiamah, popularly known as Hajia Bintu, faced severe criticisms last year when she flaunted her Mercedes-Benz GLC63 on social media.
Some critics suggested that she acquired the expensive car through a questionable relationship with Mr Rob.
However, in a recent interview, Mr Rob has come forward to clarify the situation.
Hajia Bintu, known for her curvaceous figure and social media presence, had previously addressed the accusations, stating that she used the earnings from her influencer and advertising deals to purchase the luxury SUV.
She emphasized her financial independence and the role of social media in boosting her income.
Almost a year later, Mr Rob, who had been at the centre of the controversy, has spoken up to provide his perspective on the matter.
In an interview with Fiifi Pratt, Mr Rob explained that he only assisted Hajia Bintu in acquiring the car through a hire purchase arrangement.
He refuted claims that he used his own money to buy the car for her.
Additionally, Mr Rob clarified the nature of his relationship with Hajia Bintu, asserting that they are friends without any romantic ties
He also addressed the rumours about setting up a shop for Hajia Bintu and denied his involvement in it

Hajia Bintu bought her $150,000 Benz in April 2023.
In an interview with Delores Frimpong-Manso on The Delay Show on TV3, the popular Tiktoker said she sponsored her cat through Snapchat ads.
“I saved a lot from my influencer deals and instant ads on Snapchat,” she revealed.
“If I post Instant ads on snap and make 500 cedis, imagine posting 5 or 10 a day, multiplied by a week and a total it in the month and this just one category of ads,” she said
