An impressive run of 10.1seconds (hand timed) by 2020 Olympian, Sarfo Ansah, has handed him this year’s GNPC Ghana’s Fastest Human race finals title.

The feat, recorded at the Cape Coast Stadium over the weekend, is the second time he is winning the ultimate after 2021.

Following closely in second and third positions were Bokpim Mustapha Alufar, recording (10.4secs) and Salifu Gafaru (10.5secs) respectively.

Speedster Club’s Janet Mensah won the female race in 11.5seconds.

She shrugged off keen competition from Beatrice Boakye and Felicia Awudi in an exciting race.

Founder of Ghana Fastest Human Race, Reks Brooby, commended the athletes for demonstrating resilience and good sportsmanship.

“You are all winners regardless of your positions, you have demonstrated great sportsmanship, and I must say I am highly impressed. I thank our loyal sponsors GNPC, Adidas, GOIL, Moringa King, Global Media Alliance, Sports Equity Lab, Kriate Lync Wrenco Printing, and Pipas Gym for their continued support,” said Brooby.
