SAMP & BEANS<\/p>\n

Tell me one family that dislike this wonderful meal l will wait for you. This is one of the top meals that you can rely on when the weather is cold.<\/p>\n

#INGREDIENTS<\/p>\n

\u25cf 500g Speckled Sugar Beans<\/p>\n

\u25cf 500g Samp<\/p>\n

\u25cf 3 Knorrox beef stock cubes<\/p>\n

\u25cf 100 g crushed biltong \/ biltong powder<\/p>\n

\u25cf 2 tbsp cooking oil<\/p>\n

\u25cf 1 onion, chopped<\/p>\n

\u25cf 3 cloves garlic, crushed<\/p>\n

\u25cf 1 tsp paprika<\/p>\n

\u25cf 1 Cup Boiling Water<\/p>\n

\u25cf 2 Litre water for soaking & 2 Litre for cooking<\/p>\n

The clear way that can help you to cook this delicious meal well.<\/p>\n

#METHOD<\/p>\n

1. Soak the samp and beans overnight in 2 liters of water.<\/p>\n

2. Strain the samp and beans, place in a large pot, pour in the remaining 2 liters of water & bring to the boil then simmer slowly for roughly 1 \u00bd hours or until samp and beans are nearly soft (most of the water would have absorbed into the samp\/beans).<\/p>\n

3. In a separate pan, pour in the oil and saut\u00e9 the onions & garlic.<\/p>\n

4. Once the onion has softened, add paprika & saut\u00e9 for a further two minutes.<\/p>\n

5. Mix together the stock cubes and boiling water, add to the onion mixture and simmer for 2 minutes.<\/p>\n

6. Pour the onion mixture into the samp and beans, stir well and leave to cook on a very low heat for a further 10 minutes. Now add crushed biltong\/biltong powder. Stir. Enjoy!<\/p>\n

1 teaspoon of salt and pepper.<\/p>\n

1 can of baked beans.<\/p>\n

1 can Red Kidney beans.<\/p>\n

Green pepper (Chopped)<\/p>\n

Yellow pepper (Choppped)<\/p>\n

Tablespoon of Paprika.<\/p>\n

2 Tablespoons of Minnies sweet chillie sauce.<\/p>\n

2 tablespoons of Minnies Periperi sauce.<\/p>\n

Tablespoon of Curry Paste.<\/p>\n

Crushed chillies. <\/p>\n

1\/2 cup of Tomato puree.<\/p>\n

Tablespoon of tomato paste.<\/p>\n
